BAD IDEA
Should political debates have VAR like in football?
Sure, because nothing says 'trustworthy politics' like a referee reviewing your fibs live on TV.
Adding VAR to political debates sounds hilarious, but it’s not exactly practical. Unlike football, where a clear foul or offside can be replayed, political truth is subjective, wrapped in spin, and often depends on interpretation rather than objective facts. Plus, even with VAR, people still argue endlessly. So expect even more delays, protests, and Twitter battles instead of clarity.
